<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Mahogany is a darker color than the standard alder Soloists, so the green would show up a little darker. Congrats on the sweet axe! I think most people prefer the JB pups in mahogany rather than alder, as some people think the JB sounds too bright in alder. I have the JB/59 combo in my Hamer Special FM and think they sound awesome and compliment the mahogany really well.

yeah, i think it's a good combo.

i dont think the mahogany body effects the color thing because the top is maple for both, guess i shoulda specified that i was referring to the top.
