Re: Jackson Dinky "Dragon"

Yes, the one I had, before the neck and body were seperated, was described differently also, one of the reasons I was so upset about the whole deal. But regardless, that Dragon is out of my house/sight and I am a happy camper...

Whoever ends up with them, as long as you're happy, it's very cool with me...

Enjoy!

well pat, i've got the one with the maple neck now...my brother paid probably way too much for it...if you're curious shoot me an email (you weren't alone in paying above market value)...he got it and didn't like the neck (too wide and thin) so he traded it to me for one of my guitars...very sorry this all took place with you...what is it about this graphic that seems to drive people to crazy prices???...me i actually like parts guitars and i think this one will hang around awhile (if i ever sell it at all...again sorry you got burned on one of these and hope you had a merry xmas...d.m.

Well D, all I can say is that if you ever sell it, I know Newc wants that neck as he has ( or had ) the original body, I'm fairly certain he still has it tho.

I said this a while ago, but when I was a noob here, I gave a mint RR1 in Cobalt blue and $800 cash for it. It only happened because I was a noob and had been out of the loop for 10+ yrs, but it won't ever happen again, that much is for sure.

Like I said before, as long as you guys enjoy them, that's all that really matters at this point.

Peace!

Jeez, Pat, I had no idea Tim took you that hard for it - surely one would think that he of all people would have stepped up and said "either the RR1 OR the $800 but certainly not both, as it's highway robbery"

Man, that's frikkin low. I had no idea. I'd be pissed too. There's a difference in taking an uninformed dealer, but to just screw an innocent bystander like that is evil.
How the guy sleeps at night is a mystery to me - I'd be too afraid knowing I screwed someone AND gave them my address

Yeh, it was rough, and not so much the money either, more of a matter of principal...

All water under the bridge, and it's coming back around, so...

Thanx!
