Wow. Robert was most helpful. He had all the info on past owners and more.

He bought the guitar from the original owner who had worked at GC and ordered it.

The crack happened when he brought it to Switzerland.

He gave me more details too which was more than I expected.

I was on the verge of a custom shop "Catfish-Bird" like Robbin's when they put the stop to it. [img]/images/graemlins/eyes.gif[/img] A real pisser!!

I called to order one too and they had pulled the plug about a week before I got to it..... Fender sucks for that! lol.

Big Bird arrived safe today! I have been noodling with it all night. Neal did me right. Great packing. Fair price. Very accurate description. Better than I expected.
