  • Help identifying a Jackson bolt-on

    Hi guys,

I've had this Jackson super Strat for a long time and I'm trying to find some info on it. I've included some pics. I'm wondering if anyone can provide some info. The specs are unusual. Slanted bridge humbucker (I've never seen that on a Jackson). Neck pickup was routed by someone (not well), but the bridge route looks like it came from the factory. Jackson Floyd Rose bridge and a San Dimas neck plate. I've include pics.

it's a jackson usa strat, 1987-1989 made in ontario california. there's probably more specific dates written in the neck pocket and maybe more info inside the trem cavity under the springs. jt-6 bridge.

whoever ordered it ordered it with the slant humbucker. not super usual but not unheard of.

    cool guitar!

Not much more I can add. I wonder if the neck humbucker has been added?

Thanks for the info. There's nothing on the. inside of the trem cavity. I haven't checked the neck pocket.

Yeah someone routed the neck pickup... not professionally. It's very rough and "homemade" looking.
