hey RR0849, your RR-custom 24 fret is not an old stone guitar now, is it?
as far as I know roope and jiri(?) were the first guys to order 24 frets into finland?
should have been around the time...

Hey Jani, great site! I saw my old axe on there. It was RR1831 owned by Ari. I bought it from Chris and then traded it back to Chris for an 85' white with gold hardware and Kahler. My buddy almost killed me for getting rid of that but he ended up with the 85' anyway.

micha - The site has guitars by many owners. Mine are the ones with my name Jani as the owner. I guess you mean Ari's rhoads. It's not from Roope or Jiri but damn close. There are a lot of Rhoads guitars in Finland that are copies of Roopes guitars. And funnily almost all custom ordered in the late 80s early 90s were black witt floyd, single hum with active electronics, single volume and no pickguard. I call it the Finnish layout. ManyAxes - Actually I bought RR1831 from Chris and then later sold her to Ari. It's an amazing axe and was my first SD. When I got it the frets looked like they had never been played. If you know more of that guitars history please let me know so I can update the site. Thanks!

could have been possible, since it's ordered by a finnish player, late 80s, and jiri sold some of his as far as I know, but well, great guitar anyway. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
