  • NGD year end 87 hat trick single hum yum

3rd 1987 in the last month....definite theme going on.
1987 Strat single hum in black metallic.
Really nice guitar. Not scratched, just how black photographs, it's played and in really nice shape.
I have an EMG strat so I am planning to change the pickup and hide it under a Jackson pickup cover.
Last shot is my 1987 wall.

Love the '87 JT6 Strat action! You have a crackle and a metallic finish now, what's next?

Jeez those look like original loose, clunky JT6 arms too. My my where did all those go...

I believe both Straycat and I have owned that one. As did Fishhead.

Nothing next! All tapped out for now and if I do get something, something else must go and right now I don't have anything I want to give up.
I do have a refin in the works and another in my head.

Yep both of the JT6 units are in exceptional condition, all original hardware except pickups. The black metallic has a factory replaced neck which explains the smaller logo. Guitar sold as new in 1991 and the original owner broke the end point off the headstock about a week after getting it. He had to send the neck back to Jackson and they made him a replacement.
I have the hangtag, sales receipt and broken pointy end of original headstock as well.

              Which one?
The black metallic I bought from the original owner.

I really like single hum guitars so I may be biased but that"s a sweet guitar. Very nice collection

Just to be the one naysayer of the group----

All of those headstocks are pointing the wrong way.
