  • NJD: Down by the (coral) Sea...

Coral Sea finish is my crux. Have to have it. Found a Soloist. The good, pretty much all stock, even with the boost preamp. The bad, stock trem gone, replaced with an OFR with an additional routing to fit in (not a bad job, I am okay with it.), Replaced tuner or two. Over all, Great 1990 Soloist, sounds awesome with stock pickups, I really like the preamp boost. Finish is in excellent shape as well as the frets, fretboard. Bad pics due to it's too cold outside for sun shots.

And got to have a pic with the rest of the CS family...

I'd love to see those in person. They strike me as the type of graphic that's hard to capture in photos.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

            Awesome collection.
A coral sea archtop would really go well with those.

This finish is not Coral Sea. It is called Psychodellic

To my knowledge the only mention of Psycho as a graphic was when they were available on the Japanese only market Doug Aldridge model, but it looks little like the above graphics...only blues and greens in the pics I see, no reds like the Coral Sea and Eerie Dess.
