NGD:DK1 quilt...GAS attack courtesy of DRM

After kicking myself for not jumping on the DK1 that DRM scored, the GAS was strong.
Strong enough I had to find a release. This one was shopped around for a bit and after drooling for a long while I decided to bite.
It's awesome solid koa body with stunning purple quilt top. Binding around body and over frets. Mint shape and plays smooth as silk.
I'ts my first DK1 and I am digging the neck profile.

Ahh indeed, didn't look at the different offerings. Last time I started looking for a DK1 I ended up with a Strat and this time an exotic. Le sigh, guess I need to try again.

It's kind of burple. In sun it looks more blue but more purple under tungsten lights or shade. It's so between it looks more purple on some monitors than others.
