    TJ, sometimes its easier just to rip everything out and start from scratch - rather than sort out someone else's logic. It'll be fun.....

      I agree. Whenever I re wire a guitar I use fresh high quality pots and caps all topped off with vintage wiring.

      Are you going to keep the copper plate?

        Yeah TJ, the copper plate stays....there are ways to use it to eliminate ground loops etc. It just ends up being another easy grounding option.

          Nice. I have an 87 Ontario strat with a copper plate as well and grounding to the plate is a convenience.

                As much as I love the shark fins, the dot inlays with a binding looks pretty cool on the red one in the back. Congrats
