Switchcraft 3 way toggle

I want to replace the 3 way toggle on my dk1 but I want to keep the tip it came with. Found this swithcraft 3 way toggle:

Will this new switch accept the jackson tip?





Also, forgot to ask, whats the safest way to enlarge a hole for the pots?
My dk1 has emgs with 25k emg pots and im planning on going with dimarzios and the CTS pots that I have on hand don't fit.

I do recall that Jackson uses Switchcraft switches, so it should fit.

They use coarse threaded import switches on the newer DK 1's, not sure which year they started but it has been for some time now. If it isn't a Switchcraft in there now it won't fit.

I'm thinking it's not a switchcraft and this is the style of switch you should use, with the stop collar at the end of the threads like the Switchcraft but coarse threads.
