      Looks cool in black!

I like chrome when its complementary. Doesn't look right on yours.

I don't mind it with the chrome, but I think the black looks better.

Case in point - this guitar looks best with chrome hardware. Gold might work but black would definitely not.
I think the chrome looks nice with that, but think black would look great, too.

Agreed... I'd put black hardware on that too...

It does look better with black but I don't mind Chrome. In fact, I'm one of those that think the Chrome Floyds sound better. Yes I am cRazY!

Generally I prefer Black hardware on most colors and shapes, but sometimes Gold and/or Chrome go better with certain finishes... In this particular case, I like both versions almost equally!
But if it was a TBK Kelly or a Warrior, I'd definitely go with the Black hardware.

Chrome is a great way to dress up a relatively plain finish. A transparent, metallic, or otherwise special finish is better suited to black hardware, which doesn't draw the eye away from the finish. That's my humble opinion, anyway. The OP's trans black with black hardware looks killer.

Me too. But the black looks good also...

Love the black hardware with trans black finishes! But, a mix of chrome and black is how they did it back in the day!

I'd put a black Floyd on that too... but that's just me...

I do have a vintage black Floyd that I thought swapping in. But then I'd have to find a vintage black nut - not easy.
