Jackson SL1 neck question

You should try a PC-1. The neck is .083ish at the 1st fret with a round profile. The raw wood feels great too...

I'd love to try a PC-1 someday. My dream guitar... but I would have to put fret markers on it. I have no idea where I could find one to try out, the closest possible place would possibly be a couple hours away at Guitar Center in Kansas City. If I had the extra cash for a good deal on a used one I'd certainly buy, knowing I could re-sell if I didn't get along with it.

The neck on my '85 Soloist is like my R8 Les Paul. Deep feeling D shape. The neck on my friend's '85 Soloist a few numbers earlier than mine is much thinner.

Custom guitars, different shapes I guess.
