  • Stainless Steel Frets on 2009 SL2HT?

I've always guessed they were stainless steel but I've never been able to confirm it.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Unless it's had a fret job or a custom shop guitar it should be regular frets
    It's pronounced soops

Thanks. I'm not at all familiar with stainless steel frets.

So if you're "not at all familiar with stainless steel frets" what led you to believe they might be?!
        "Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
        Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

Fair question. I just figured for $2500 they would use the longer lasting fret.

Yeah they use your Standard nickel alloy frets.
