  • Dave Mustaine number 1 DM010 full specs

    Hi,
I'm new to the forums, but I'm getting a Jackson custom shop King V, and I want the specs to be as close to Dave's number one as possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated, especially the fretwire.

I wouldn't care what fretwire Dave used. Get whatever you like. I'd pick the biggest Jumbo I could get if it were mine.

      Put a kahler on a KV2, that's it!

Dave doesn't seem to actually know what his #1 was. He seems to think that he got his main 'logo' guitar painted silver, but that guitar is still around...

I was also thinking of a black beauty king V, all black with gold hardware, gold frets, gold MOP inlays, and a gold Jackson logo.http://jacksonguitarpalace.com/RR3170/index.htm

I'd take a Mustaine KV with a Kahler.

                  NO!

Might as well put some spinners on it and go cruise Oakland selling Rocks!

Oh yeah, I've been on the Dave tribute site multiple times. It's a great site.

                              Hi,
I'm new to the forums from Japan.

I don't know about DM010 but I have KV Pro (Japan made Dave Mustaine signature) and it have thin fret wire.

Fret spec as follows. (From catarog)
                              Fret wire: Rockwell C6/Brinell 171
                              Fret size: .110x.106x.039x.037

                              Hope this helps.
