  • Will coming from a epi les paul to RR1T sound thin?

I currently have an epi zakk wylde les paul. The RR1t has less wood, thinner neck, and alder instead of mahogany. WIll there be a loss of tone/sustain/warmth/ beefiness?

Also, how low can the action go on the RR1T?

My epi can only go medium action before buzz. How low action can the RR1ts go?

No, it will not sound any less beefy. It will sound different though. More articulate, sweeter, punchier and yes more sustain. It will also play quicker and easier and be better balanced. And you can get the action as low as you please.

It's just a much much better guitar
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.
