That's a good deal to me - nice score! Looks in good shape but the trem is not as good as a floyd. I dig the H/S set up though!
    I like EL34s.

Nice score. I'm a bit puzzled by the locking nut though, is that a Kahler Floyd-style locking nut? With JT6 slotted bolts maybe??

Im just learning about this soloist, I know its from 1988 custom soloist from ontario. I can tell by the serial number on fretboard. The guy I bought it from said he had it custom made 20 years ago.

Ah for fucksake - I'm pretty sure the guy who had that posted it on a Canadian guitar site a few months ago and I offered him way more than that. But it didn't have EMGs or a JT6, so I guess it could be a different guitar. Don't see many h/s though...

Anyhoo - cool score, and bargainous price

I checked my pics - does it have a bunch of chips out of the paint on the lower edge under the controls?

needs alittle work, some neck binding missing around the point of headstock, couple dings here and there. other than that. I think i did well for a first jackson usa purchase. got this from CL in Grand rapids michigan.

Theres always sweet deals here in michigan. right now someone has a marshall JCM 800 with marshall 412 cab for 900 obo
