  • Identification - please help

My new SL2H has the serial number U22354 . What each number means? And the letter "U"? What means?

    Please help!

I'm pretty sure its just a sequential number. The individual numbers don't "mean" anything - in comparison, to say, a Gibson serial number.

The "U" means the guitar is a production neck thru.
The rest of the numbers are just sequential as Grandturk stated.

More precisely, it means it's a USA production model neckthrough.

Actually, the "U" means unplayable. You're not allowed to play that guitar, man. I hope you didn't pay a lot for it.
All men play on 10. Never gonna turn down again.
