2B or 4b if switch is factory, knobs are not. could be 87-88 buy serial # possibly

I think the switch is factory, and the knobs are replacements... Could be wrong, a friend who doesn't play moved into a new house and found this on the attic.... He gave it to me. Worked fine besides a dead battery

It's a fairly nice handcrafted bass made in Japan. I owned one of those and a US BC Rich STIII bass back in the day, quality was comparable. Nice gift.

Not a 2B. Wrong body shape and the control layout is wrong.
            It is a 4B.

thanks for the help, Does anyone have the specs. or know the lay out of the knobs? I noticed two of them have some kind of function at the half way mark, there's a click. Also does the switch change between pick-ups?
