bass or g question

As a guitar player now looking at giging as a bass player Im not sure what to get. I've got a used Trace Elliot 4x10 coming and was looking at an ashdown 300w bass amp. The rest of the band is on 50w orange rokaverbs. We play doom in b flat and its pretty slow. I'm not let looking to spend a lot of cash so the head I saw is £220 at gal.co.UK

I had a Ashdown Mag300 and really liked it. I believe Ashdown was started by guys from Trace Elliot.
