If it's real, I don't think it was made in the 80s. With that serial number on the plate (7401), it likely was made after 2005 when the reissues first came out.

Agree, looks legit and probably made around the time of the reissues.
That is the newer body with the large cover and skinny horns. ( think of it as a 4b with no switch ) The early 80's USA's never had 3 knobs in a row, always 1/2moon AND never had the reverse-P
