The shipping could probably be negotiated if you called.

when I bought my pink lefty from one of those online MGR stores, they told me it is what it is, you want it or not.... NO price manipulating with the shipping OR cost of the unit.

I suppose it depends who you deal with, Guitar Center shipping is very reasonable.

MGR didn't seem at all flexible when I called about a guitar. GC shipping and tax charges depend on the salesperson to some extent. Some have charged shipping, but no tax. It may have been an accident.

Is that the granite finish? Is it textured?

Also, not that I doubt you because you are the one I look to for Jackson bass knowledge, but I thought the concert pros had sharkies and were neck thru?

that thing will sit for a while because your feelings are mutual, it's UGLY, but I would look past it to get a Concert for 150 bucks. ( that's me ) in the next 2-4 weeks I'm SURE there will be a lot of C/J basses on ebay and CL..etc, because of Christmas buying, and Christmas selling TO buy different things.
