I just bought a beautiful bass. The colour is just like this: http://samun.1g.fi/kuvat/charvel_model_4b/4b_2.jpg
But it's a 3b, not a 4b like the one in the photo. The price was high ($750) compared to those cheap Charvels in USA but you must remember that Charvels are much more expensive in Europe than in America (Damn...) Especially 3b:s are very hard to find these days in Europe and I guess that the colour of this particular bass is quite rare in USA too??

By the way, A friend of mine has a 1989 Charvel 850XL, I've never seen them on sale on european Ebay. Do you know if they are rare in USA too? 850XL looks almost identical to 3b, but it has a little "solo notch" or something like that (I don't know what it is called in english)

oh yes, the 850xl with the scalloped ( beveled ) cutaway is available every now and then here in the USA.

and yes your prices are way higher over there, but if your happy with it, and gonna keep it for years and rock the shit out of it, the money was well spent!!

over here if someone said 500 for a 3b we all just laugh about it, but anything in crackle brings more money, and a tricolor?...I have no clue what that would fetch over here since it is the rarest color they had.

...very unique and different I'm used to seeing them in red crackle like the one I have or white crackle and if I was looking and that thing was for sale over here, I'd probably jump on it for collectible purposes.

some of the JCF members here has a couple guitars in tri-colored crackle.

I posted the BCRich because I like the vertical color change better than the sideways version, but either way very cool and unique.
