  • Jackson Kelly Bass Too Expensive??

I am making a deal with a guy from work who has a 96 Jackson Kelly bass Professional. It comes with a fitted hard shell case with original papers, DP122 DiMarzios, a Seymour Duncan J PU, an EMG active boost switch, and new DR strings. All together he wants $350. Now I just would like to know if this is worth it or if I should try walking him down on the price. He wanted $450 at first, but I talked him down a bit already. I'm not too sure on prices for these guitars, but I figured that this price would be about right on what it would be worth with the parts. It looks clean and plays awesome. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

If I could afford it I would but why not lowball him .There was a red one listed on Racine/Kenosha CL for $325 awhile back.If you do get it and don't like it after a year get a hold of me,I live 2 blocks off Hwy 11 in Racine

if you like Kelly's I would say if it is very clean yes 350 is good because the case usually goes for 50-80 by itself....

I'd get it if I were you. Sounds like a good price.
From here on the nightmare only gets worse...
