    Yep - cause if you ask me the 95 "Dinky RVS" is the best one !!!

    I also have a 96 DR3 Pro (it still has the reverse HS and Sharkies)
    it was a transition year so basically the only difference between the
    95 "RVS" and the 96 DR3 is that the DR3 has a toggle instead of a slider.
    the 96 even had the rail bridge pup .... but ...
    I use EMG's in all my guitars - so they all sold on ebay.
    <<<<96DR3>>>>> Got this about 4 months ago on craigslist from
    a guy in Pheonix with original case in near mint condition for $200
    (he was original owner - was in his home studio for 12 years)

        Candy Apple Green is such a great color! I used to have one just like that, either a '95 or '96.

          Hey All!

          I'm new here. Just picked up a 1995 Soloist Pro off Evil Bay.
          I'm super stoked about it. I've owned one other Jackson in the past. A USA SL2H in Black Ghost Flames finish. It didin't work for me at the time unfortunately...

          But I'm gettin' back on the Jackson horse.

          The guitar I bought seems to be a metallic burgundy. I was checking the catalog scans online and the finish options for the Pro seem to be:

          MBK= Metallic Black
          DMB= Dark Metallic Blue
          BC= ???

          Anyone have an idea what BC stands for? I'm guessing it's got to be the color I got. I'm guessing it's either Burgundy Mist or Candy Burgundy. Any help with that is appreciated.

          THANKS!

          Adolfo

              COOL!

              Thanks Rich!

              After more careful inspection of the price list... I found it too
              Black Cherry (Metallic)

              Awesome!

                What year did they stop using the anodized metal back plates? And when did they switch the single coil rout from no tab to the tab rout? Just curious. I always seem to forget these things.

                  Was the 'stone' finish very common?

                    It was a standard finish in the early to mid 90's.
                    You still see at least a half a dozen or so pop up on eBay every year.
                    I'd say it was fairly common.

                      Yep. I had a 90 Soloist pro (sadly long lost now) and there was nothing engraved on the truss rod cover. It also had a Jackson Mid boost and IIRC the serial number was engraved on the last fret just like the USA customs.

                        I would like a Jackson Soloist Professional with ebony fretboard and mother of pearl inlays, how much do these run for?

                        And are these large or small body guitars? I have a SL3 small body compared to a Kramer I have.

                          They are dinky bodies, so 7/8ths strat sized.

                          Check completed auctions on ebay- one just went for $500. Item number 260457531085.

                            So they are bigger size body than an SL3?

                              I believe they should be the same size....? Soloists all have dinky bodies afaik.

                                Yes, all soloists have dinky size bodies.
                                Otherwise they'd be neck-through Strats.
