I've always liked the PS4. swap out the pups and maybe upgrade the trem and theyre killer. Nice thin necks. and well built. Just make sure the one youre lookin at is Japanese made and not korean. The Japanese ones start with 9 and the kirean start with 10 for the serial numbers

I have two.
One with transplant Ibby pickups (V2, S1, V1)
Other with SD Dime in the bridge, stock middle, Gibson PAF in the neck.
I've not had issues with the trems yet, but they don't seem as nice as the Schallers.
Necks are really nice.
I mean REALLY.
I like my PS-4's as much as my model series charvels (the one's with the JT-6 trem, which I also never had much of an issue with).

Yeah, they're pretty decent as they are stock-swap out out the pups as others mentioned and you have a solid guitar. I have two (an old JDR Concept which became the PS-4 later on, plus a new model) and am expecting a third from another board member here in a few days. For light use the trems for me seem to do alright and hold tune-any heavy use and you would likely want to swap it out for the Schaller. But the board here is a tremendous resource for anything you would want to do with a PS-4. Enjoy.

i had to go for it. i bought a ps 4 on ebay a couple days ago, sold with no dings or scratches, with gig bag, tuner, and cord, for $150.00 with free shipping.
