  • Bolt-on SLSMG?

My limited amount of Jackson knowledge is stuck in the mid '80s to early '90s era so I would appreciate any help with this. I recently picked up a Jackson bolt-on that appears to be a SLSMG with HZs. It looks fairly new and appears to be a mij. Does anyone know the name of this thing? Much thanks.

yep, soloists have to be neck-thru, so it's a DKMG

Thanks for the replies. I did not mean to imply it was a soloist but that it resembles a bolt-on SLSMG. This guitar has the funky, pointy tear drop headstock and the body is a string-thru. The neck and headstock are bound and the fret board is rosewood with mop-like shark fin inlays. The body set up is two HZ's w/ one tone and one volume and a three way switch. Basic dinky w/ ugly headstock.

WE HAVE A WINNER!! NextInLine is correct with DXMGT. I found a couple on evilBay and that she be. Basically a Dinky with the fugly headstock. Thanks to all and thanks to NextInLine for the answer. She cost me $202 w/hsc so I can live with the headstock but the dopey name drove me nutty.

I like those, including the headstocks! 202$ with the hardshell case is actually a very good price, enjoy your guitar..

Well you never know, it could only be the inlays that made him think it looks like an slsmg
