  • Jackson Stars KV-J1 Semi Custom PIX!

    Okay guys, here it is!

It is based on the regular KV-J1 transparent black model.
Custom options are: 1-11/16" nut and matching head.

    The first pix:

The ebony board looks a bit glossy... But it's black as the darkest night

MOP Logo (cool color reflections) Sorry I can't capture this with my cam.

K, that's what it looks like in person. The trans black is really dark

    That's it! Any questions?

Hey Nazgul, nut & butt width are perfect

Cool guitar. The first of this year's Jackson Stars on the board and only a couple of days to ship. Congrats!!!

The fretboard looks nice and dark. I prefer the black hardware that you've got; the USA would have chrome.

Any chance you can take some pictures of the guitar in natural light so the pics come out a little crisper?

    How does she play?!

      Thanx Ken
Right now I'm working on the setup (string tension, intonation bla bla bla)
But my first impression of the neck was pretty good.

I'll shoot some more pics when I can capture some good daylight here.
In person, the guitar appears as a mix between the 3rd and the last pic.

        Very cool guitar dude!

Nice to hear about the nut width too .

Was the guitar wrapped into bubble wrap too inside the case?

Could you please check the Floyd if it has Made in Germany stamp on it? Like this: http://www.audiozone.dk/tremolo/OFRchrome4.jpg

And if the locking nut is R3 or R4 size?

BTW, any case candy with the guitar?

Yep, you can order yours now with calmed down mind
No bubble wrap in the case. The box absolutely safe and tight, don't worry.

I played her a little bit after hours of setting her up.
All I can say is she plays great, the neck feels a bit thicker than my KV2's neck but don't worry Nazgul... Neck dimensions are KV2 identical. It just feels thicker.

                  I'll check the floyd tomorrow

Holy shit, now that I get to see it, SWEET!!

Well, I work in a hospital so they block things like myspace and photobucket and a lot of other places. I am probably one of a small group (if any) who goes to this forum. They can't just block it anything with forum in the title because there's ones they approve of. it's cool though, a little extra excitement for me when I got home.

The guitar looks awesome, I'm going to have to consider a KV next time

Dudes, did I mention that the fretwork on this guitar is friggin' amazing?! Really well done!
It is absolutely on par with early '90s Pro Jacksons.
It can't beat a USA though (in terms of craftsmanship & sound), two different worlds.
