  • DK2M finish on back of necks - what is it?

Does anyone know what Jackson uses on the back of the DK2M necks for their finish? I (well, my dad) repaired my DK2M neck behind the headstock where I had some screws break while installing an allen wrench holder. The screws were removed and holes filled with wood filler, but I would like to re-seal the back of the headstock over the work. I know linseed oil will protect it, but would prefer to use what Jackson uses.

Here is what it was and what it is now...

    Before...

    And after...

So, if someone knows, please share the knowledge. thanks

a thin satin clear. poly paint. it would be to much trouble to refinish that neck. just put some boil linseed oil, and keep it clean.
