My upgraded DK2M

Guys,

I did a couple of upgrades to my DK2M. I swapped the black pups for zebras, and at the same time, changed the JB (bridge) to a Custom. The neck is still a Jazz. I then changed the 3-way switch to a 5-way, with the 2 and 4 positions being inner coils and outer coils, respectively. GREAT clean tones from the 2 and 4!

Me too! The guitar looks friggin' awesome now. The white DK2M is pretty as is, but you really set this one off.

Looks great, now an OFR! I changed my knobs to fender style and I am not slamming into the volume knob anymore!

This is actually the first guitar where I like the zebra pickups at all, because the white matches with the finish of the guitar.
Good call on the Custom too, one of my two favourite bridge pickups (the other being the Duncan Distortion).

Thanks for the compliments guys! The stock Floyd is working fine for me, so I'll keep it at least for now. If anyone HAS swapped in an OFR, is there really that much of a diff?
