  • Jackson DX10R, 8 digit serial

Hey all, posted this in the wrong forum initially,

I have what appears to be a DX10R with the serial of 99050014. It doesn't have Duncan Designed pickup. Has a jt500, has pickup mounting rings, is unbound, has the sharkstooth inlays, and everything else looks normal DX10R.

Any idea of the serial's origin and year?

I have searched the forum only to find it is possibly Indian, but the serials don't completely match what was spoke of in past posts.

It's Indian...the JT500 is the giveaway....once the X series was moved to Japan they started using JT580LPs.

Since the serial starts with a 9 it can't be Indidan, right? Japanese sounds more correct to my ears...

Mine's Japanese and it's got a 7 digit serial....and a Made in Japan sticker on the heel....and a JT580LP, and I got it a month before production was 'officially' moved to Japan, if that means anything (December 2002)...
