Kelly Performer -- What's the Body Wood?

Somebody was asking me about the Kelly Performer I have for sale in the classifieds.

What's the body made of? Basswood? Alder? Plywood? (Actually, I know it's not plywood.)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It should be either alder or poplar. I can't remember offhand. They sound very similar in tone anyway.

Actually, I just dug out my old '99 catalog, and it does say the PS6T is made of poplar.
