Dinky neck on a Kelly ???

Short question:

Does anybody know if it is possible to put the neck of a DK2 onto the body of a KE3 ??

This would really help me. Thx!

The only thing I can think of is that the neck bolt spacing might be different between the two necks (can't say - never tried it) - other than that, I'm pretty sure they're both the same neck.

Well, I did put a Jackson JTX neck on a Kelly, but since the heel design of the JTX was different than the standard Dinky/Kelly neck, I had to modify the heel. It did fit just fine on the Kelly (and a Dinky), so I assume a DK neck will fit on a KE body, but since I haven't officially put an official DK neck on a KE body, I have to say I don't know exactly for sure [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Welp, I just recently got a DK2 neck from KEv Easton and put it on my Kelly, it fit perfectly! BTW, the DK2 necks play awesome, just too bad they got them cheap plastic inlays.

Yeah, thats the reason why i want to keep the dk2 neck. it is very comfortable.
And the Kelly bodys just look damn good.
