...but I was wondering if the DXMG has a sculpted heel like the DK2. It's just that I haven't found any pics of the DXMG which show the back plate or anything.

Wes,yes the heel is just like the DK2.

All the bolt on Jacksons I've ever seen have the same heel shape, so yes the dk2 and dxmg are the same, but they aren't really sculpted either. Just a square neck joint with a plate.

I had two Dinky Reverses that had the little scoop on the back underneath the neck plate, but the heel shape is still pretty much the same. The two Dinkies I have now don't have it.

I think he means the shape of the heel,thinner on the treble side, allowing easier access to the upper frets.
