  • Which trem on Stealth?

I have a Stealth body, with a neck due to arrive sometime this week, and need to start tracking down a trem. Does anyone know which model(s) of trem would have come stock on it?

There were several versions of the Stealth, one of which had a tune-a-matic bridge. The original Stealth Pro models from the early 1990's used the Schaller/Jackson JT-590. I would think any of the later models (XL, etc.) would accomodate that one.

They also had the JT580LP on them after the first run of Pros. Like 94-96ish.
But the posts will accomodate an original Floyd, A schaller, or pretty much most lisenced copies of the same post distance.

OK, thanks for the info. As long as the post spacing is right for a 580 or OFR, I'll be happy. Before I forget, any idea on the nut size? My neck hasn't arrived yet, but I was under the impression that the neck profile was different on the Stealth, compared to most of the imports.

As with almost all Jacksons since 1990, the nut size is R3.
