• jackson necks : is it my impression

so :
is it only my impression ( i played tested those guitars but not one after other ) :

is there a difference between those necks :

sl3 soloist neck : is like thinner more ibanez style

dxmg : medium width

rr5 : wide and extremely comfortable

i'm asking because basically want a superstrat with a floyd but with an rr neck
is it possible . aa and neck through of course

Was is only my impression caused with the long time pause between testing those models ?

btw is the kv4 a new model ? because it has it all : floyd , neck through

peace and thanx for ya help

The KV4 model has been discontinued a few years ago.

I thought the DXMG as it says on the jackson site is thicker than the DK-2 and SL's?

ok so finnally is that what i've said true ?

because : no shop in my country has so much jacksons .

basically is the sl3 neck thinner or thicker than the dxmg's ? and is it thinner or thicker than the rr5 rhoads neck ?.

it would be very helpful for me

Isn't this what you can find as "neck dimensions" in the model specs at www.jacksonguitars.com?

The Dinky (bolt-on) necks should all be about the same: thin, but not as thin as an Ibanez Wizard neck. I believe the Stealth necks were actually thinner and closer to the Wizards. The Soloist (neck-thru) should be a little thicker, especially the USA ones, but the speed necks I believe are thicker at the lower frets and get thinner higher up the neck.

I've played both an SL3 and an RR5 pretty recently, and I found their necks to be almost identical. I wonder if the Japanese factory was using the same neck blanks for the RR5 and SL4 while the latter was still in production?
