Do the neckplates on Japanese models not say "Jackson" anymore?

A friend of mine recently picked up a nice Japanese Dinky, which seems pretty authentic except the neckplate has nothing but a 7 digit serial number. No logo, no name, nothing.

Indian made Jacksons seem to have only a number.

My DX10D has only a number, no name.

My new JS30 dinky (jap) has the jackson logo and the ser # plus the made in japan sticker at the heel of the neck.Best 264.00 I ever spent.
