    KV4=neckthrough=what Kevin (VoodooBoy) said earlier - neckthrough numbers designated the year - 2000 (or 2001?) for yours.

      It also depends on the series... one of my Japanese Archtop Soloists is SN J000016. *!* [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

      I call that guitar Molly... it's a cherryburst finish, so Molly - redhead, sixteen candles... etc

            It tells me it has a six digit serial number. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] I think the first two digits are the year followed by whatever number happened to be the next in line.

                      the band johnny crash... they were signed on a smaller CBS distributed label in 1990. toured with motley on the feelgood tour.

                        Never heard of them.

                        My nick comes from my old stage name when I was a kid... a cross between Johnny Cash (country) and Darby Crash (70s punk singer).
