Guys, have you noticed you just bumped a thread from 2003!
Anyway, I got 2 JS made in India and both are decent guitars. Back in the days, I even brought them on stage with me, I don't gig anymore. Had bought my JS Kelly because at that time, it was the only way of getting a Kelly with a fixed bridge without going custom.
On both of mine the stock PUs were Jackson branded.
I have upgraded the PUs on both of them and still rock them once in a while. But I bet YMMV on the quality. I bet I have been lucky.Comment
