The DXMG was never made in Korea. The 1st year of production was in India.
That being said, I would also say get a Japanese production DXMG. The JT580 trem is a better trem, also the Japanese finishes are better quality. On my DXMG the finish seems a bit thin and seems to show some pitting (small indentations) that you can see up close. But overall I like mine.

So they changed the Floyd routing then on the Japanese ones that have the JT580LP with rounded baseplate instead of the squared off baseplate of the JT500?I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment
