• Kevin Bond Rhoads

Guys,
I've done a search and can't find anything on the Bond Rhoads - Has anyone actually seen one in a store, or does anyone know when these are going to be available?
Cheers

Micha: Yep, they sure look cool (not that I've seen the green bevels, but I love non-scratchplate Rhoads) I've seen that page on Scott's site, but they're "Arriving Soon", as they are on the DCGL site as well.

I just wondered if there were actually any available yet as I wanted to see what people thought and (while I know specifics can't go here) what sort of street price they went for....

Cheers

I'm getting a Wolbers DK7 from Scott, and he said they should begin shipping in the next 30 days (figure sometime in May anyway). Not sure if that's for the Bond as well, but I would assume so given they were intro'd at the same time.

I don't really dig the KBRR at all. The bevels and the bridge are rockin', but the one pickup limits it big time. I'd rather just get an rr5 for that coinage. Anyway, my opinion.

Re: Kevin Bond Rhoads

See for me the fact that it's rear loaded and has binding and (I believe) and ebony board which appeals. The RR5 just seems like a down-market RR1 to me....

Re: Kevin Bond Rhoads

The KBRR is a great axe! It's very lightweight and feel killer. The quality is pro and the inlays look great! The 1 hum, rear loaded, non-trem makes it the perfect axe!

I can't wait to get one! Funds have to accumulate first though. I may even have to wait until there are used ones.

The only thing I don't like about this rhoads is the inlays... they don't really look right to me as guitar inlays, eh?
I think this axe would look bitchin with no inlays.
