  • DXMG, made where?

What years were the dxmg series made and were they ever made in india or are they strictly mij? And they all have bound fretboards, right?

    Re: DXMG, made where?

I don't know exactly when they introduced them, I think 2001 or 2002, but the first year or so they were built in India. They are built in Japan now. The easiest way to tell the difference between an Indian DXMG and a Japanese DXMG is that the Indian ones have JT500 bridges and the Japanese have JT580LP bridges. The JT500 has the locking screws sticking out the back of the trem like an OFR and the JT580LP has the screws on top like a Floyd Rose Pro.
