Picked up a JS30 Rhoads at a flea market. The serial number appears wrong?

I had some trouble figuring out which model this was because the serial number is listed as "NJHI08000874"

Apparently it's supposed to be NHJI

Is this just a goofy mistake?

It looks like in 2008 Jackson tried to standardize their serial numbers. Prior to that these Indian guitars had a 2007##### number. or 2006####. Later they settled on NHJ. So it looks like that's just how they were being marked in 2008: NJHI. If you search online you'll find other JS30s with that abbreviation.
