I have a 2015 MiM Dinky Pro, and a 2017 MII Soloist Pro. I have them both hanging on my wall, next to each other. I recently noticed that the Dinky is completely flat at the bottom of the body for maybe 2-1/2" inches, while the Soloist never really flattens out. I had a mid 90s MiM Strat, and it also flattened out completely compared to Japan and USA Strats. I haven't traced a stencil to compare, but to my eye, there is a difference to all bodies coming out of Fender's Mexico plant. It is very subtle, but I'm pretty sure this is the case. Am I crazy?
