    Ever hear of this one?

    A few years ago, I played a purple import jackson at Daddies that I should have bought. It was a Dinky with three Humbuckers and it was string thru. Anybody have any idea what it was? I'm not too familiar with imports. I think they were asking around 400 for it.

        Cool. Are they rare? I haven't seen one since. I wouldn't mind picking one up.

          No, it's a Stealth HX with three humbuckers, and 22 frets. I've got a Dinky HX, it's only got two humbuckers with a TOM bridge and 24 frets. I had a second one that I sold to Carl (SpaceAce).
          Venomboy has a Stealth HX with three EMGs, 81/58/85. The HX series is kinda rare. I asked Kevin Easton about my Dinky, he said there were only about 100 made in '94. I assume about the same were made for the Stealths, too.

            Man I shoulda picked it up. I don't remember it having a stealth body, but it very well could have been.

              I believe that one actually has a Dinky-type body. There were a couple Stealths, from what I remember, that didn't have the real thin bodies like the Ibanez Saber/S Series.

                Thats probably it then. At that time I hadn't had a Jackson in years and I didn't go for it because I a had a thing against import Jacksons. What an elitist dork!

                    I don't have a pic, but the Guitar Center in Edina, MN has a black Stealth HX for $399 I believe. That's a steep price for a used import, but I'm sure it's worth every penny all the same.
