• Kelly STD Professional

Hi folks!

I just had a chance to check out a nice looking black Kelly
STD Proffesional with two SD humbuckers.

It's got 24 frets and it looks like a rosewood fretboard,
the guitar is kinda light, maybe a Basswood?
The neck is really thin and comfortable.

Truth is I haven't heard it yet.
I'll do it the first chance I get!

What's your opinion on this thingy? and what info can you tell me about it?

Cheers!

BetaCAM.

<font color="yellow"> Hey Beta...they were made in Japan, and the Standard series was a bolt on, 24 fret, rosewood, Jackson JT580LP trem.

I have the same damn guitar

I set mine up really well and it plays awesome. Mine has stock Jackson pups in it, although they do sound surprisingly good.

The only sad thing about mine is, sadly, I can't get used to the Kelly shapd

You see them pop up on Evil Bay fairly often.

Hey!

Thanks for the reply.
The guitar is in really mint condition.
Frets look good and the finish too, the tremolo looks good too, I didn't ask if it has the Tremolo.

It isn't really for me, maybe one of my friends might be interested in it.
Since I already own a Charvel that I love I see no point in adding this guitar to my arsenal as I don't know if it's really a good addup to my line.

right now it's more important to me to find a good Amp!

Cheers!
