Is this a PCx Import?

Howdy group - first post, think I read the rules, so here goes.

I bought this back in Austin in the late 90's, they said it was a Phil Collen. I'm relatively certain whatever it is it's an import, but I'm having trouble identifying this guitar. Great color, plays well, sounds so-so, but considering selling it. However, don't know what it is!

Serial is 9614991, which I'm guessing is a 1996.

Looks like a PC-3, made in Japan.

Yep. Early PC3. Approximately 1998-1999
Later versions had a JT-580LP trem.

I also was able to find this ebay listing thanks to the model designation help!

That one went for $729 including shipping, due to the "extremely rare green color with wilkinson trem". lol. Don't know about that, but if it sells, hey, why not! Now I'm not sure I want to let it go...ha.

In your case, no. Yes, 96xxxxx started in 1996, but they ran sequentially past 1999.
The PC3 with the Wilkinson trem was only made for two years. 1998/99.
They switched to the JT-580LP in 2000.
