  • SL7Q Case

I stumbled across a review, stating the SL7Q will NOT fit inside Jackson's Soloist/Dinky case. Is there an ideal alternative case I should get?

The SL7 is Satin Black. I have a bass in SB and it wears off where my forearm rests. Looks like I left a burger sitting on it.

I asked Jackson Support, and he recommended the Jackson Soloist/Dinky case. I then saw a Youtube video by a JCF member, clearly showing the headstock would not clear the mould inside the case. The tip of the headstock needs at least another 2 inches of clearance. I then got another reply, stating the SL7Q will fit, but it would be a tight fit. I am not going on someone's word. Even if it will be a tight fit, I would be taking a bus to collect it. All it takes is some piece of shit to ram the case with a pram, kick, or stand on it, and you've just lost an £1,000+ investment.
