Is the bridge missing the threaded insert for the wham bar and is this obviously not the original bar?
Any way to fix the bar issue or would I likely need a new bridge to fix the wham bar issue?
thanks guys. I’m new here btw!
        Jist got this Jackson yesterday

Looks like a late '90's early 2000s PS6T Kelly Performer with upgraded pickups.
          Serial 9xxxxxx.
I can't help with the arm, though.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

The serial starts with a 96. Does that make it a 1996?
i have more pictures I posted just waiting on the moderator to approve the pics.

Not likely, those numbers ran in sequence and the PS6T was introduced in '97.
They were most likely still made in Korea in '96.
I wouldn't rule 96 out, but I'd bet against it.

Probably '97-2000. The neck pocket would have dates if you're curious and want to remove the neck. I could give an educated guess based on the number, but those numbers are inconsistent at times.

That blue guitar is a KE3.

A bit of an identification guide below.

Prior to 2002, they had reverse sharkfin inlays, black hardware, and Duncan Designed HB102n/HB103b pickups.

Based on the guitar in the Reverb ad, with its standard sharkfin inlays, chrome hardware, and Duncan Designed Detonator pickups, it was made between 2002-2006.

After 2006, they had standard sharkfin inlays, black hardware, and Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz pickups.

Yes, I forgot to mention the PS6T is Japanese.
                      The KE3 is 2003ish.

Performers ended in 2000, they were between the entry level JS series and the Pro series. The KE3 is part of the Pro series.

Curious, are you interested in details about Jacksons for your own personal knowledge (like many of us here) or are you fishing for details about this Kelly to include in your sales listing? I see that this guitar was listed for sale/trade on Craig's List this morning. What gives?
