You are welcome. Good luck with the auction.

Whenever I find bargain-priced used guitars in Canada, I share them here: http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/16-E-fraid-of-E-bay

Sadly, there are currently no bargain-priced Japanese Soloists available for sale on Canada's biggest used merchandise website (www.Kijiji.ca).

Shipping from Canada to the UK would inflate most of the well-priced deals to the point where it would probably be cheaper and easier in your situation to just keep watching for UK deals.

The most recent used Japanese Soloist was this modified SL4. http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/150...oist-(CAD-330) It's from the same production timeframe as the eBay SL3 and is a sister model to the SL3 with the notable differences being 22 frets and two humbuckers (instead of 24 frets and humbucker/single/single pickups).

Most Pro's never got the tremolo upgrade in '06. I think the SL3 was the only model that got it actually.

I'd like to know what model in the '92 catalogue the seller thinks this guitar is. There isn't even a model shown with chrome hardware...forget the fact all early '90s models had a 'Professional' headstock logo.

Yes, it's a 2005. The seller is confused on the serials, also.

You can check the specs in the '01,'02, and '03 catalogues.

        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Yes, Japan. All SL3's were Japan.
