    Hi guys, I have a Jackson Performer guitar and the SN is 9655953. Can you please help me identify what country was my guitar made? Thank you in advance! \m/

    That should be late '99 or early 2000 Japan. This number format ran in sequence and I have a personally made list containing 9656xxx being stamped in the neck pocket April 2000.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

          Yes, a 96xxxxx serial is Japanese. In North America Performers can be had for $300 or less.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
